CCBC Essex Draws No. 3 Seed in NJCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championship

The National Junior College Athletic Association announced the seeding for the 2015 NJCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championship to be held this year at CCBC Essex Stadium, located at 7201 Rossville Boulevard in Rosedale. The Community College of Baltimore County, Essex earned the No. 3 seed and will host No. 6 Brookdale Community College this Saturday, May 2 at 1 p.m. in a quarterfinal game.

The Knights (13-2), also ranked No. 3 in the country in the most recent NJCAA national poll, earned a spot in the championship by defeating Anne Arundel Community College 11-4 on April 25 to win its eighth consecutive Region XX title. It is the team’s sixth straight regional title under head coach Shawn Burke.

The NJCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championship semifinals and title games will be played May 9 at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. and the championship game on May 10 at 1 p.m. at CCBC Essex Stadium.
