The longest continuously running summer theatre in Maryland, Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre, opts for music and murder for its 2016 season! In residence at CCBC Essex, this community theatre has been mounting Broadway-quality productions for 44 years.

GODSPELL
June 10 - 26 on the Mainstage
Performances will be held at 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, Fridays June 10, 17 and 24, and Saturdays June 11, 18 and 25, and at 3 p.m. on Sundays, June 12, 19 and 26.
Godspell (2012) offers a high-energy romp through the gospel of Saint Matthew.
Tickets are $22 general admission, $20 for seniors (60+) and $14 for children 12 years old and younger.

TOWARDS ZERO
June 11 - 26 in the Cabaret Theatre
Performances are 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 3 p.m. on Sundays.
Agatha Christie is at it again. Mayhem and murder at a remote seaside house party has guests dropping like flies.
Tickets are $17 for general admission and $15 for seniors (60+). Not appropriate for children.

July 8 -17 in the Administration Building Lecture Hall
11 a.m. - July 12, 13 and 14; 1 p.m. - July 9, 10, 16; 4 p.m. - July 16; 7 p.m. - July 8 and 15
A special sensory-friendly performance will be given July 15 at 11 a.m.
Clever Mulan disguises herself as a male soldier named “Ping” to bravely take her father’s place in the Imperial Army.

MONTY PYTHON’S SPAMALOT
July 15 - 31 on the Mainstage
Performances will be held at 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 28; Fridays July 15, 22, and 29; Saturdays July 16, 23, 30 and at 3 p.m. on Sundays July 17, 24 and 31.
A new musical “rip-off” from the film “Monty Python and the Holy Grail.”
Tickets are $22 general admission, $20 for seniors (60+) and $14 for children 12 years old and younger.

THE GAZEBO
July 16-31 in the Cabaret Theatre
Performances are 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 3 p.m. on Sundays.
Mystery, murder and mayhem reign in this who-done-it by Alec Coppel.
Tickets are $17 for general admission and $15 for seniors (60+). Not appropriate for children.
