The CCBC + JHU Connection

Humanities for All offers CCBC students summer immersion experience at Hopkins and more

CCBC students have access to a unique learning opportunity where they can “earn while they learn” through the Humanities for All initiative.

In partnership with Johns Hopkins University, Humanities for All allows CCBC eligible students studying the Humanities to spend 10 weeks during the summer at JHU’s Homewood campus. Students will conduct research, participate in special projects and gain exposure to world-class JHU faculty, scholars and research techniques. Full participation in the program will allow students to work in small groups for tutorial experiences, attend a lecture series each semester and a half-day symposium as well as be paid a $750 stipend upon completion of the program.

Students admitted into the CCBC Honors Program are eligible to participate in Humanities for All by applying for the Mellon Scholar Summer Research Experience. Pursuit of a Humanities degree is required.
