Rosedale, MD – The Community College of Baltimore County, Athletics today announced tickets for the Inaugural Adult Egg Hunt & Basket Raffle, to be held Friday, March 27 at 6 PM on the Essex Campus, are now available for purchase.

Tickets are just $15.00 and can be purchased through any of the three websites below by going to ‘Inside Athletics’ at the top of the website, clicking ‘Adult Egg Hunt’ and filling out the registration form. Participants must be at least 18-years-old on the day of the event.

Proceeds from the event will support student-athlete scholarships and special event initiatives – like national tournament participation – for CCBC’s 21 intercollegiate athletics teams at CCBC Catonsville, Dundalk and Essex.

CCBC annually provides participation opportunities to more than 400 student-athletes, many of whom come from the local area. Several of these student-athletes would not be able to attend college or participate in athletics without scholarship support.

“It’s exciting to work on a project that has the potential to benefit all 21 teams on our three campuses, and grow into a major annual community event,” said assistant director of college athletics (Essex campus) and event chair Greg Witkop.

It is anticipated that the event will draw approximately 1,000 participants and tickets are expected to go fast.

Not only will a ticket admit the bearer to the egg hunt, but it will also grant them access to the basket raffle that follows.

Prizes include restaurant gift cards, discount coupons, home and garden items, sports memorabilia, fashion accessories and many other items to be announced as the event approaches.

The Essex campus is located at 7201 Rossville Boulevard, Baltimore, MD 21237.

Doors open and registration begins at 6 PM at the Wellness & Athletic Center.

The egg hunt is scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM and it is strongly advised to bring a flash light and dress appropriately for that day’s weather forecast.

CCBC Athletics will communicate additional information and prize updates via its Facebook page at www.facebook.com/CCBCAthletics.
