Baltimore County, MD –This summer the Community College of Baltimore County’s calendar is packed with programs and events for all ages from classes to camps to special events and information sessions. Keep informed by visiting www.ccbcmd.edu for the latest information.

Summer Session Classes

Students can take advantage of summer session classes to tackle an especially difficult course or whittle down your required courses! First session six- and 10 –week sessions start June 1 and five- and seven-week sessions begin June 14. The second session begins July 13 with six-week classes and July 20 with five-week classes. Information Sessions -- Discover CCBC features academic and career programs, how to become a CCBC student, where to find resources to pay for college and much more. If you are a high school senior, parent, college transfer student or adult returning to college, this session is perfect for you. An Early College Access information session features the Parallel Enrollment (PEP) and College 4 Free programs. High school students and parents can learn about the benefits of earning college credits and saving money while still in high school.

Thursday Tours -- Invest an hour and envision yourself as a CCBC college student as you tour the campus with a current student and learn why CCBC is your best college choice. Art of Murder – Is murder on the agenda when an eccentric painter awaits the arrival of his art dealer?
The Book of Murder – Henry T. Aythecliff, once a successful writer now heavily in debt, had meetings with each of his three ex-wives to exhort money from each of them. When he is found dead, each is suspected of his murder. Great detective work can sort out the crime. Join us as the tale unravels.

Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre: GAME SHOW, an interactive theater experience
Aug. 7 at 8 p.m.
CCBC Essex, College Community Center, Mainstage
For one night only, you play an audience member for a “live broadcast” of a fictional TV Game Show. You may be picked as a contestant and win real prizes or witness all of the behind-the-camera antics of live TV! Either way, it’s a great time to be had by all.
