Earn Medical Front Office and Building and Apartment Maintenance certifications via Metallica Scholars Initiative
Baltimore County, Md. – Attend a Community College of Baltimore County Information Session to discover how to earn an industry certification at no cost. Medical Front Office and Building and Apartment Maintenance certifications available.
This no-cost training is available thanks to the Metallica Scholars initiative, a $100,000 grant awarded by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees’ foundation – All Within My Hands -- to assist community colleges enhance their career and technical education programs. CCBC was one of 10 community colleges from across the country to receive a $100,000 award.
The Information Sessions take place at CCBC Randallstown, 3637 Offutt Rd., Randallstown, MD 21233. Attendants need only attend one session, but are expected to stay the entire three hours.
Building and Apartment Maintenance Information Session
- 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., Thursday, March 21
- 4 – 7 p.m., Thursday, March 28
Medical Front Office/Phlebotomist Information Session
- 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 19
- 4 – 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 26
Partnering with the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC), a Washington, D.C.-based organization that represents the nation’s 1,103 community colleges, the Metallica Scholars awards are designed to provide support of relevant job skill training for community college students, reinvest in communities that supported Metallica during its recent United States tours, and leverage the influence of Metallica to elevate the importance of career and technical education.
