Mary Margaret O'Hare

Vice Chair, Board of Trustees

O'Hare is retired from federal service as an IT specialist. She received her Bachelors of Arts degree from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland (now Notre Dame of Maryland University) and her Master of Arts from Loyola College (now Loyola College of Maryland University).

As a longtime advocate for rigorous and equitable education for all students in Baltimore County and throughout Maryland, O'Hare has served as Parkville High School PTA President and Baltimore County Board of Education Advisory Council NE Area Chair and countywide Coordinator.

She was also appointed as a member of the Board of Education of Baltimore County serving on the Curriculum, Ethics, and Budget and Audit Committees. She is a member of the Baltimore County League of Women Voters and a member of the Education Committee.

O'Hare is a Carney resident and President of the Carney Improvement Association. She and her spouse, Tom, have four sons, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
