How to apply for financial aid

Applying for financial aid at Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) happens in three easy steps!

Step 1

Apply for admission to CCBC. After you receive your CCBC ID number, access to SIMON, and CCBC email account, you can apply for financial aid!


Step 2

Create a Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID through the Department of Education. Dependent students should also have their parent apply for a FSA ID.  In 2015, students and parents will be asked to discontinue using their PIN and apply for the FSA ID.  


Step 3

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Use your FSA ID to sign the FAFSA.
  • Be sure to include CCBC’s school 002063 in the school code section of the FAFSA.
  • For ease and accuracy, CCBC encourages you to use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool.
