“Going through this program helped me decide what my next step will be. ”
After completing her bachelor’s degree in Business and Management at Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School, Carlina Carter still hadn’t decided what direction her life would take. She was interested in the legal profession, but wasn’t sure law school was the right move. The perfect solution came in the form of the Paralegal Studies program at CCBC.
Many of the program’s faculty are practicing or former attorneys and judges, a definite plus for Carlina. She was impressed by the real-life perspective they brought to the program, and the way they helped her get a realistic idea of what a career in law would be like.
Predictably, Carlina had no objections to being job-ready and not saddled with huge student debt after graduation.
“You should always be willing to try things, and CCBC is a good place to do that, to find yourself,” Carlina says. “Going through this program helped me decide what my next step will be. I’m applying to law school.”
