Repairing Automotive Brake Systems

AUTO 126

Introduces students to diagnosis and repair of automotive brake systems and components; includes inspection, disassembly, overhaul, repair of hydraulic systems, disc brake systems, drum brake systems, power brake systems, antilock brake systems, and associated repairs. This course is taught during an 8-week session.NOTE: Course offered fall, spring, and may be offered during additional sessions.

  • Prerequisite(s) : AUTO 100 or written permission from program coordinator required.
  • Corequisite(s) : ESOL 054 and ESOL 052 or ACLT 052 or ACLT 053; and MATH 081 Lab Fee: $40.00
