Overview of trip

Join us for a fabulous 12-day trip to France. The 70th anniversary of the Allied landings on the Normandy Beaches is a good year to visit these beaches and to remember what happened there.

We will fly to Paris, where we will tour the famous sights in this "City of Lights." From Paris, we will travel to the famous beaches: Caen, Omaha, Juno and Utah Beaches, as well as see the Memorial Peace Museum, which was built to commemorate the epic battle of Normandy in 1944.

We will visit La Pointe Du Hoc Ranger Memorial where the 2nd Ranger Battalion scaled 100-foot cliffs on D-Day. This was depicted in the epic film "The Longest Day." From there we will travel south to The Loire Valley and visit the wonderful Chateau de Chenonceau and its lovely French gardens, the Chateau du Clos, where Leonardo da Vinci spent his last years, Amboise and finally Vouvray for a wine tasting. From there, we will hop on to the TGV speed train to Avignon, Provence, Aix-en-Provence, St. Paul de Vence, Grasse, Nice and Monaco to enjoy the wonders of the famous French Riviera. Our journey will end in Nice, leaving us with the wonderful memories of a trip of a lifetime.
