This office is responsible for project development and writing significant institutional grants aligned with college priorities.
For almost 20 years, the staff of the Office of Grants Development has been privileged to bring a wide variety of public funding to the college, including significant funding from such federal agencies as the National Science Foundation, the U.S. Department of Labor, the U.S. Department of Education, the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and the U.S. Department of State. Grants office staff members have also successfully solicited funding from several Maryland state agencies.
These grant funds provide new learning opportunities for students and will assist them in being more academically successful. Grants development also assists faculty and staff in developing proposals to secure grant funding for departmental projects.
