Softball Camps Overview

CCBC Catonsville offers five softball camps throughout the winter for girls ages 9 and older. The CCBC Catonsville indoor softball facilities are located within the Athletic and Wellness Center and include three gyms, two weight rooms, and an indoor batting cage. Each participant should bring their own personal gear including a properly marked glove, bat, and soft soled indoor tennis shoes. CCBC Catonsville will provide helmets, balls, and additional bats. Instruction for these camps will be provided by CCBC Catonsville Women's Softball Coaching staff. Student athletes from the 2013 CCBC Catonsville Women's Softball Team will also assist during each of the camps. In 2013, the Lady Cardinals were the Maryland JUCO Conference and Region XX champions, and were ranked as high as 19th in the nation in the NJCAA Division II national poll. Under Head Coach Chuck Slater, the Lady Cardinals have captured four Region XX and five Maryland JUCO Conference titles in eight years. Coach Slater was named the 2012 Maryland JUCO Coach of the Year.
