2008 Softball Camps Overview
CCBC Catonsville offers five softball camps throughout the winter for
girls ages 9-17. The CCBC Catonsville indoor softball facilities within
the Athletic and Wellness Center include three gyms, two weight rooms,
and an indoor hitting cage. Each participant should bring their own
personal gear including a properly marked glove, bat, and soft soled
indoor tennis shoes. CCBC Catonsville will provide helmets, balls, and
additional bats. Instruction for these camps will be provided by CCBC
Catonsville Women's Softball Coaching staff. Student athletes from the
2007 CCBC Catonsville Women's Softball Team will also assist during each
of the camps. In 2007, the team earned a berth to the NJCAA Division
II Softball Championship in Normal, Illinois and finished ranked 15th in
the nation. Under head coach Chuck Slater, the Lady Cardinals have
captured two Region XX and one maryland JUCO Conference title in three
