Robert E. Latshaw, Jr.
Robert Latshaw is the president of Latshaw Associates, a firm that
deals in the management and planning of all real estate sales,
financing, marketing, consulting, appraising and development
activities. He graduated from the Johns Hopkins University with a
B.S. in Business and Finance.
Mr. Latshaw is a member of a number of professional organizations,
including the Greater Towson Committee, the Towson Business
Association, Greater Baltimore Economic Forum, Greater Baltimore
Board of Realtors, Maryland Association of Realtors, Maryland/D.C.
Certified Commercial Investment Member Chapter and the Baltimore
County Chamber of Commerce.
In 1973, Mr. Latshaw was named Maryland Legislator of the Year by
the Associated Builders and Contractors and in 1982 was named
Realtor of the Year by the Maryland Association of Realtors and by
the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors. He was a member of the
Baltimore County Planning Board, a County Executive appointment,
from 2002-2004; a member of the Baltimore County Economic
Development Committee, a County Executive appointment, from
1991-1994; president of the Greater Towson Committee 2004-2005 and
its director from 1985 to 2005; present chairman of the Greater
Baltimore Economic Forum, Inc. since 1987; past president of the
Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors; and a member of the Sun Trust
Bank – Maryland, Advisory board.
Mr. Latshaw served as director of the Baltimore County Chamber of
Commerce from 1994 to 2000 and was a member of the Maryland State
Legislature House of Delegates from 1970 to 1974.
Mr. Latshaw has also served on the Board of Trustees for the
Baltimore Polytechnic Institute Alumni Association and the Friends
School of Baltimore. He has been an active member of the Gilman
School Annual Fund, the Towson Presbyterian Church’s Board of
Elders and Board of Deacons, and the Baltimore Country Club. He
was an instructional coach for the Roland Park Little League from
1993-1999.
