Cecile V. Myrick
Cecile Myrick is the owner of Crab Quarters, Inc.; a family owned
and operated business that has been serving Baltimore and its
surrounding areas since 1984. A local businesswoman who is
dedicated to her community, Ms. Myrick doesn’t hesitate to become
involved in both professional and community organization. As board
chairman of the Restaurant Association of Maryland, she leads the
association in promoting, protecting, and improving the food
service industry. She also serves on the boards of Essex Community
College Foundation Inc., Bowleys Quarters Improvement Association
and the Essex/Middle-River/White Marsh Chamber of Commerce. Ms.
Myrick was appointed to serve on the Baltimore County Human
Relations Commission by County Executive Dutch Ruppersberger and
the Baltimore County Commission for Women by County Executive
Dennis Rassmussen. Ms. Myrick is also a member of the Democratic
State Central Committee, the Maryland Hospitality Education
Foundation and the Baltimore Licensed Beverage Association. Ms.
Myrick has taken an interest in the Welfare to Work program in
Baltimore County, and has volunteered with a local Adopt-a-Family
program.
