Flight Management at CCBC

While many people identify pilots, air traffic controllers and flight attendants with aviation, there are an even greater number of Flight Management professionals working to keep the air transportation system running smoothly. In fact, for every airplane in the sky, there are over 1,000 people on the ground supporting and coordinating flight operations.

Flight Management generally involves the business, leadership and planning aspects of aviation. There are numerous career opportunities in the areas of airport and airline management, aircraft maintenance, aviation marketing, finance, and planning, law enforcement, and state and federal government aviation agencies such as the Federal Aviation Administration, National Transportation Safety Board, Department of Defense, and Department of Homeland Security.

CCBC is located in the heart of a large concentration of aviation activity where numerous internship opportunities and work programs are available.

Please review the CCBC Aviation Program Information Packet for details on our Flight Management degree and certificate programs including curriculum, course descriptions, application and registration, financial aid and VA Benefits.

You can be a part of this fast paced and exciting industry! We encourage you to learn more about Flight Management opportunities by visiting our Careers in Aviation page which provides information on the employment outlook, working conditions and salaries.
