Learn about “the war to end all war” as historical figures from the past come alive on stage and reflect on this moment in time as CCBC joins Maryland Humanities in commemorating the 100th anniversary of the United States entry into World War 1

  • Friday, July 7 – General John Pershing, who led our troops, portrayed by Doug Mishler.
  • Saturday, July 8 – Civil Rights Advocate W.E.B. Du Bois, who served as a spokesman for African-Americans who were among the many soldiers who fought, portrayed by Bill Grimmette.
  • Sunday, July 9 – President Woodrow Wilson, who brought our nation into the war, will be portrayed by Judd Bankert.
