This degree pattern is a two-plus-two pattern designed to help students fulfill their freshman and sophomore year requirements at CCBC and directly matriculate through their junior and senior years in the University of Baltimore Corporate Communication program. To receive an A.A. degree from CCBC, a student must complete 36-39 credits of General Education and a minimum of 60 total credits as required by the Humanities and Social Sciences curriculum.
CCBC’s Corporate Communication pattern is coordinated with the University of Baltimore through an articulation agreement linking the two Corporate Communication programs. It is recommended that students who intend to major in the field should consult with the program coordinator at CCBC in order to choose courses that satisfy the University of Baltimore transfer requirements stipulated in the articulation agreement.
Mass Communications provides opportunities for students who wish to continue their studies at a four-year institution in fields such as studio production, film, electronic media, journalism, and disciplines in corporate communications such as advertising and public relations.
