Program Description:

Graduates of the Flight Training option will have completed all academic training required for the commercial pilot certificate. Flight training courses are available at CCBC, but are not required for a degree under this curriculum. Pilots with a commercial pilot certificate may find employment with commercial airlines, corporate flight departments, charter or cargo operators, agricultural flying, flight schools, or with a government agency or military service. Non-flying positions are also available with the Federal Aviation Administration or other federal, state and local aviation agencies. Pilots are required to pass an FAA pilot medical exam.

Credits in this program transfer successfully to most four-year degree programs, however, acceptance of transfer credits is at the discretion of each institution. Courses may be taken in any sequence as long as prerequisites are met. Some courses are offered in alternate semesters.
