Transfer Pattern Description:
This Arts and Sciences degree pattern is designed for students who
expect to transfer to a four-year institution and major or minor in
history. Most schools will expect that a transfer student will have the
majority of credits in the major at that institution.
Because four-year institutions vary widely in their requirements, it is
strongly recommended that students who wish to pursue studies in History
speak with an advisor from the Counseling Center and the History
department head before registering for courses. This sequence of courses
should be adjusted to meet the requirements of the transfer institution.
NOTE: Transfer institutions vary in their requirements for
History majors or minors. Electives should be taken to correlate with
the requirements at the transfer institution.
