**Recommended science courses for transfer to B. S. program in
Mathematics are: PHYS 151, BIOL
104, BIOL 106, BIOL
110, CHEM 121, or CHEM
123, depending on the transfer program and institution.

Transfer Pattern Description:
This Arts and Sciences degree
pattern provides opportunities for students who wish to continue their
studies at a four-year institution, in fields such as mathematics,
applied mathematics, statistics,
or mathematics education. Students
who choose this curriculum and desire to transfer courses to a four-year
institution should talk with the program coordinator and/or an academic
advisor.
Since four-year institutions may vary in their requirements, and because
requirements also vary according to the bachelor's degree program at the
transfer institution, it is strongly recommended that students also
contact the appropriate department at the intended transfer institution.
Program electives can then be selected to meet the requirements of the
specific transfer institution. Program requirements listed here
generally transfer to four-year institutions for mathematics majors.
Courses are offered both day and evening.
The required courses listed here assume that the student has a
background that includes algebra, geometry and trigonometry. Students
who do not meet these requirements can take the required prerequisite
courses at CCBC after placement testing of courses may be taken
full-time or part-time.
