Transfer Pattern Description:
This Arts and Sciences degree
pattern provides opportunities for students who plan to continue their
studies at a four-year institution.
Since four-year institutions vary widely in their requirements, it is
strongly recommended that students who wish to pursue studies in this
transfer pattern speak with a counselor from the Counseling Center and a
member of the faculty before registering for courses. The sequence
should be adjusted to meet the requirements of the transfer institution.
Meteorology draws upon many sources for its material because of its
attempts to describe processes and changes in the atmosphere. Some of
the major fields of investigation include structure of the atmosphere,
temperature-pressure-density relationships, heat transfer, moisture and
precipitation processes, cloud dynamics, and severe weather processes.
