Students pursuing the Associate of Applied
Science (A.A.S.) degree in a career program should follow the
curriculum under the selected program in the Academic Programs
section of this catalog. The Associate of Applied Science degree
requires a minimum of 21 credits in General Education courses.
Students who intend to transfer to a four-year
institution should contact an academic advisor for assistance in
choosing additional courses beyond the minimum 21 credits and
program electives. Students must successfully complete appropriate
developmental prerequisites, in addition to other specified
prerequisites, before enrolling in any course that fulfills a
General Education requirement.
