2006-2007 CCBC College Catalog
Statewide programs
Students enrolling in the Health Manpower Shortage
or other statewide programs as out-of-county students are eligible to
receive tuition reduction to in-county rates.
The Annotated Code of Maryland, Education Article Section 17-310,
permits state residents to enroll in programs out of their county of
residence and pay only the tuition and fees payable by a resident of
that county, if the resident’s home county does not have a similar major.
To remain eligible, students must be enrolled in credit courses that are
required for approved statewide programs. Failure to comply with this
requirement may result in an outstanding tuition differential balance at
out-of-county rates. In addition:
-
Students must verify their programs of study with the Records and
Registration office at the time of registration.
-
During the billing period, tuition will be adjusted for students whose
majors are statewide programs.
-
When tuition is due at time of registration, students must inform the
Bursar that they are enrolled in statewide programs.
-
Students who drop classes during the 50 percent refund period become
responsible for 50 percent of the out-of-county tuition charge.
