2008 CCBC College Catalog

Graduation information
All students attempting to earn a credit degree or certificate must apply for graduation, regardless of their intent to participate in the graduation ceremony. Students should meet with an academic advisor to determine readiness to apply for graduation. Then they must submit a graduation application in order to receive a degree and/or certificate. Fill the application out completely (including catalog years and, if applicable, degree option) and submit it by the deadline (see below) along with the appropriate fee payment. Submit to the Records Office at any location. Eligible applications will be processed by a graduation specialist to determine if all requirements will be met upon successful completion of the semester. The annual CCBC commencement is held in June of each year, regardless of degree application timeline.

To help students ensure that they have met all graduation requirements, they must:

  • Complete an application for graduation. Applications are available at all campus Records and Registration offices or online.

  • Submit graduation application by :
November 15 for spring semester completion
April 15 for summer semester completion
July 15 for fall semester completion
If the due date falls on a weekend, the Friday prior is the due date.
