Dear Alumni,

Welcome to the fall semester at the Community College of Baltimore County, made special this year by the celebration of our 50th Anniversary. The past 50 years have been an amazing journey for CCBC faculty and staff – one we want to share with you.

Our folks have created a yearlong calendar of events and activities to celebrate our Golden Anniversary. We hope you will join us for some of these events or just take some time to revisit your community college. You might not recognize us. We are working hard make CCBC the premier community college in Maryland to ensure that your CCBC degree continues to grow in value. Our menus of academic programs and workforce training opportunities have increased many fold. Even though you left us some time ago, you are always welcome to come back to experience some of the programs and initiatives that are making CCBC great today.

As we launch our 50th Anniversary to celebrate our past, we recognize our alumni as an integral part of what makes CCBC great. I invite you to return to our campuses and reminisce about your time at CCBC through our timeline project. We would love to hear your stories and recollections and record them for the celebration that will take place 50 years from now. To make this memory collection possible, several of our talented faculty have created the CCBC History Timeline, a trip down the CCBC memory lane. If you are interested, please connect with Stephanie Melvin who will put you in touch with the folks who are doing this.
