Dear Fellow CCBC Alums,
My time as the CCBC Alumni Association President has come to an end. We have accomplished a lot in the past three years since we started this process of having one Alumni Association.
The CCBC Alumni Association encompasses all graduates from the former Catonsville, Dundalk and Essex Community Colleges as well as current and future graduates. There are benefits and services that all alumni can take advantage of as a member. The association has two successful events each year for alumni; a Bull & Oyster Roast held in March and the Leap, Learn and Laugh Day held in May.
We launched an alumni magazine called Emerge to keep alumni informed about fellow alumni and college happenings. E-merge, the e-newsletter was launched to keep you up-to-date on a timelier basis as to events and activities with the association and the college. We are currently working on an alumni directory for you to find out about all your classmates and friends; and the association will be giving away 4 alumni scholarships to deserving students in the spring.
Now it’s time for you to get involved. The CCBC Alumni Association is always looking for those individuals who want to get involved in serving on the alumni board, planning activities, serving on a committee or working at an event. You can even be a mentor to a student or develop a workshop to showcase your knowledge and skills to other alumni, students and community members.
To find out how to get involved, please call the Alumni Relations office at 410-285-9545 or you can e-mail them at alumni@ccbcmd.edu.
I will still be a part of the alumni board and I hope you will consider getting involved in the alumni association.
Sincerely yours,
Lewis Kubiet Immediate Past President CCBC Alumni Association
