Introduction to Building Information Modeling (BIM)
Learn about Building Information Modeling (BIM), a revolutionary new trend in architecture, construction, engineering, and facilities management. It saves money and time, and enhances communication among construction stakeholders, including the end users of the building. The class will use Revit software and will include .ectures and hands-on computer lab work. Students will learn to identify the benefits of Building Information Modeling; integrate the stages of architectural projects, schematic design, design development, and construction documents with the concepts of BIM; use the Revit graphics program; and manage files, drawings, and projets with a BIM-structured architectural office.
