DEFENSIVE DRIVING COURSE FOR PROFESSIONAL TRUCK DRIVERS
Continuing Education Program

Act Now - Changes to the NSC® Defensive Driving Course – Professional Truck Drivers

The National Safety Council (NSC), effective immediately, has transitioned its certified DDC-PTD training program to become a packaged training program which will not require certification of the instructors to teach its Defensive Driving Course for Professional Truck Drivers (DDC-PTD). Credentials for certified instructors (CCBC instructors are certified/fully credentialed in DDC-PTD) will expire during CY2011.

CCBC will continue to teach this excellent defensive driving course to its students and will award CCBC Completion Certificates in addition to NSC Certificates of Completion.
2011 is a terrific opportunity to ensure that your instruction in this critical topic is provided by instructors who were trained and certified to deliver the NSC’s 6 or 8 hour curriculum and learning outcomes. CCBC can schedule classes for groups of your drivers at convenient times and locations (with group discounts), or you can call for information on dates/times for scheduled public courses.

For information on prices and/or to discuss customized training options, contact Wanda Johnson at wjohnson@ccbcmd.edu or via phone at 443-840-4585.
