Real Estate Principles and Practices for Salespersons

Obtain the knowledge necessary to sell real estate in Maryland. Satisfies Maryland's 60-hour educational requirement to obtain a real estate license. Attendance is mandatory. REAL ESTATE LICENSE RENEWAL


CERTIFIED REAL ESTATE APPRAISAL

The following three courses provide the 50 hours needed to upgrade an appraisal license to “Certified Residential Appraiser” (they are also approved for continuing education hours for license renewal). The 3 courses do not need to be taken in order, but attendance is mandatory and a final exam will be given each. Successful completion of the educational requirements for appraiser trainee license (at the minimum) is required to enroll. The courses were originally developed by Hondros Learning and have been approved by The Appraisal Foundation and the Maryland Real Estate Appraisers and Home Inspectors Commission.

PLEASE NOTE: In addition to the 50-hour education requirement for the certification, a candidate must hold an AA degree (or 21 semester credits in specified subjects) and complete 500 additional experience hours. Real Estate: Appraisal Principles & Procedures

Prepare to meet the education requirements of the Maryland Real Estate Appraisers Commission for the Licensed Real Estate Appraiser classification. Topics include real property concepts, legal considerations, factors affecting property values and more. Calculator is required; attendance is mandatory. A final examination will be given. Focus on the sales comparison and income capitalization approaches as they apply to residential properties and residential appraisal report writing. Real Estate: 7 Hour National USPAP Update

Meet the educational requirements for real estate appraisal license renewal as required by the Maryland Real Estate Appraisers Commission. Approved by The Appraisal Foundation.
