ACT/SAT Test Prep (Ages 14-17)

Don't be left out! As you know, grades and test scores will have a major impact upon applying for scholarships. In partnership with Cambridge Educational Services, America's #1 campus based Test Prep; CCBC Youth Enrichment offers a very unique combination of ACT/SAT test prep course focusing on test-taking strategies to enhance your overall performance on both college-entrance tests. Topics to be covered include test taking strategies that improve speed, accuracy, and increase confidence as well as time management. Several exposures to full-length tests, in-depth score reports, and skills review exercises complement the lessons to ensure you are on the right track to the best possible scores. This special course focuses on the overlap between the verbal and math portions of both tests. There will also be dedicated lessons for those test sections that are unique (ACT Science or SAT student-produced responses). Both ACT and SAT textbooks are required and included in the cost of the course.

Begin with a 4-hour pretest using full-length, official SATs and receive a detailed analysis showing strengths and weaknesses. Private Lessons
Private music instruction on most instruments and voice is offered for both youth (6 or older for piano, 8 or older for other instruments, and 13 or older for voice) and adult students. Intensive one-on-one instruction provides individual attention appropriate to all skill levels and ability. Lessons are arranged on an individual basis with the appropriate instructor.
