provides a basic introduction to the capabilities of ArcVIEW in
business, homeland security, environmental analysis and other areas.
ArcVIEW will be used to create an actual GIS project and to produce a
map. Topics to be covered include: GIS Overview, components of a GIS
project, gathering and inputting data, producing final maps.

course demonstrates use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), an
online map service, that combines a visual component (map) with data.

ArcVIEW for Teachers $250, $142 seniors This course
provides basic introduction about the capabilities of ArcVIEW with a

supplement instruction in primary and secondary schools. ArcVIEW will be
used to create an actual GIS project and to produce a map. Topics to be
covered include: GIS Overview, components of a GIS project, gathering
