The CCBC Connection is the student newspaper of The Community College of Baltimore County.
CIRCULATION:
CCBC is one college, comprised of three main campuses (Catonsville, Dundalk, and Essex) and two extension centers (Hunt Valley and Owings Mills) The CCBC Connection is published monthly and 5,000 copies are made available to this diverse community of learners and educators. The CCBC Connection is a tabloid style newspaper printed in full color.
OUR HISTORY:
The CCBC Connection is the college-wide student newspaper for The Community College of Baltimore County. Established in February 2009 after combining the three campus newspapers, Red & Black (Catonsville), The 1st Amendment Observer (Dundalk), and The Montage (Essex). During FY 2008 CCBC had a credit enrollment of 28, 251 students and 36,653 continuing education students. Seventy-seven percent of CCBC students are age 20-59.
The CCBC Connection invites all students interested in contributing to the newspaper to contact a campus advisor and get involved. We are always looking for writers, photographers, editors, designers, distribution managers, and business managers.
