CONFIDENTIALITY:
All information shared with a clinical counselor at CCBC is confidential. No information will be released without the client’s written consent except for the following circumstances:
1) When there is a risk of imminent danger to you or to another person.
2) When there is suspicion that a child or elder is being sexually or physically abused or at risk of such abuse.
3) When a valid court order is issued for counseling records.
4) When you waive confidentiality with a written request to disclose information to another health care or service provider.
No counseling information is ever included in your academic record.
