Early Alert Calendar

December

E-mail notification sent to faculty about participation
from Sr. Director of Distance/Extended Learning

by end of the first week of classes (2/4/05)

Begin to track non-attendance through WebCt Student Tracking and contact student

by the second week (2/7/05)

Faculty to receive non-attendance roster ( roster form)

by the end of the third week (2/18/05)

Faculty receive roster including the names of students enrolled in the Early Alert class and indicate whether the student is making "S", "U", or "NA" progress in the areas of attendance, homework, and graded assignments. Faculty are to issue Early Alert Contact Form to all students in class upon completion of the Early Alert Roster as well as in the middle of the semester or as needed.

by the end of the fourth week(2/28/05)

Faculty must hand deliver completed Early Alert roster to the following individuals at your campus Office and Records: Catonsville: Eileen Tynan , K206; Essex: Bonnie Kehler, A150 and Dundalk: Susan Honeycutt, Adm. 201

between the 5th and 6th week beginning
(3/7/05)

A computer generated letter signed by the Dean of Learning and Student Development will be mailed to all students. This letter alerts the student of the classes in which they have received a "U" in one of the above areas.

by the 11th week (4/11/05)

Campus coordinators will send surveys to the faculty

by the 12th week (4/18/05)

Campus coordinators will send student surveys to the faculty for students to fill out
