After you register for the Virtual Academy, you will receive information
about two academic computing accounts which you need to put your course
online. They include a UNIX account and a WebCT account.
A UNIX account will be created so that you can publish the public
pages of your course. The public pages of your course are analogous to
this orientation. They are the unpassworded portion of your course which
provide critical information to both potential and registered students.
A WebCT account will be created so that you can upload your
course content into WebCT. The WebCT portion of your course is
passworded course content portion of the course and is available to
students after they have registered for the course.
If you have not received your User Name and Password for BOTH accounts
prior to the beginning of the course, please contact the WebCT
administrator, Don Stitz
(410.455.4513).
