Mission Statement
Career Planning To address the needs of students seeking
career planning, the Career Development Center in the Academic
Support Center, is designed to accommodate a wide variety of
career planning needs and priorities. The services of the center
include:

The provision of one-on-one career counseling sessions

Credit instruction in career life planning courses

Career infusion instruction and research with students in SPCM

The administration and interpretation of occupational tests and
inventories

Supervised occupational research using the center's

The center's collection includes print materials, audio/video hardware and
software, computer stations with Internet access, and the acclaimed
DISCOVER career information system. Minority students, persons with
disabilities, older adults, and women will find many materials to
accommodate special inquiries, interests and needs.
