Welcome to the home page for Administrative Services at the Community College of Baltimore County. We have developed this site to better serve our students, faculty, and staff and to keep the college community informed of ongoing events and changes within the department.
The Vice President of Administrative Services is the chief financial officer of the college. Administrative responsibilities include providing leadership in the areas of accounting, financial management and reporting, budget (operating and capital), purchasing, accounts payable, payroll, grants accounting, student finance, auxiliary services, facilities management, capital finance management, environmental compliance, and public safety.
The College has received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for the past nine consecutive years (FY1998 - FY2006).
Additionally, the College has been recognized by the GFOA for excellence in budgeting for the past six consecutive years (FY2002 - FY2007). The Distinguished Budget Presentation Award reflects the College's commitment to meet the highest principles of governmental budgeting and reporting. To receive this recognition, an institution's budget document must receive "proficient" ratings from the GFOA as a policy document, a financial plan, an operations guide and a communications device.
