CCC Foundation, Inc.
Supporting the Catonsville Campus
of The
Community College of Baltimore County
CCBC Catonsville entered the new century in a role that continues to
expand dramatically. It provides a diverse student population with
training and education that benefits our citizens at work and in their
personal lives, and answers the growing needs of todays high-tech
businesses. Thankfully, through the generosity of our donors, a greater
number of deserving students are able to pursue these life-enhancing
studies. And the campus and faculty can receive new tools and programs
that public funds are unable to provide. When that happens, our whole
community is the better for it.
Foundation Mission: Provide financial assistance to needy
and deserving students; provide funds to help the Catonsville campus
accomplish its mission; build financial security through endowment and
planned giving gifts; and promote a margin of excellence beyond what
traditional funding levels can achieve.
MAKING GOOD THINGS POSSIBLE!
The Catonsville Community College Foundation, Inc. is pleased to
announce that $26,979.00 was awarded to CCBC Catonsville to support
learning-first initiatives, enhancing academic programs, student
experience, and creating new partnerships within the community. Justin
King, CCC Foundation Board President is extremely proud of the financial
assistance the Board has been able to provide to CCBC Catonsville this
year. He said, "We are here to raise money and spend money to enhance
the students educational experience."
The CCC Foundation has established a forum and powerful partnership with
a campus committee referred to as the Catonsville Committee for Student
Learning (CISL). Annually, faculty and staff are invited to submit a
three page funding proposal for projects and equipment, which support
the CCBC Learning First concept.
