Congratulations on your admission to the Essex Campus of CCBC!

All of us at the Essex Campus are looking forward to meeting you. As soon as you arrive in Baltimore, please come to the OIS, say 'hello' and let us help you get started. In the meantime, here is some important information about the entry process.

First, if you haven't reviewed the materials on the Essex campus and surroundings, you may want to do so now. There is useful information on the campus and the City of Baltimore. You may also want to review the online orientation materials. These will help prepare you for studying in the USA.

Second, now that you are admitted, you have been issued a CCBC email account. Please check your CCBC email account regularly. We will use it as a way of sending you important information. By the way, if you are still in your home country, you may want to review the information under health insurance and consider your options.

Third, once you are in Baltimore, here are the next steps you must take to become a registered student.

  1. Meet with an International Adviser. Call 410-780-6354 for an appointment.
  2. Take placement tests in English and Math.
  3. Attend an Student Orientation and Registration Session, also called the International SOAR.
