Technology Department - Information Technology
The Employee Technology Center's also known as the ETC's.
They are generally referred to as the CETC, the DETC,
and the EETC. These centers are multi-purposed,
multi-faceted, state of the art technology training/support centers.
There is a center located on each of the three main campuses. The
centers provide CCBC employees with FREE technology training,
support and access to a wide variety of technology resources.
These resources assist users with the integration of
technology into the classroom as well as easier completion of daily
tasks including administrative functions/tools.
This allows a more interactive experience for student, staff, faculty
and community as well as the most valuable asset
of "communication" via the resource tools that faculty, staff, etc. are
able to learn and/or enhance.
We offer a wide variety of technology support and
training. Please take advantage of these FREE professional and
personal development opportunities. Have some FUN as well!
Technology Training Classes -
-- short scheduled training
sessions (generally 2 hour sessions depending on topic) -- more in depth
classes running anywhere from one day to 5 weeks, etc.
-- specialized
training sessions for specific departments/topics customized to your
needs.
One-on-one appointments - appointments made with
center experts
Open Lab Hours -
-- drop-in
sessions pending lab availability, (still good idea to call ahead) with
-- access to a variety of technology tools, resources, applications, etc.
