LDD: African American History and Language

This learning community will enable students to fulfill two general education requirements - one in English and the other in Social Sciences. The contents of both courses are integrated so that the writing skills taught in English 101 help the members of the learning community to be successful in African American History, and the subject matter of the African American History class enriches the content of the papers in English 101.
