INTERLIBRARY LOAN
What is Inter Library Loan?
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is the
borrowing of library material through a state and national network. If
you are unable to locate the material you need at the CCBC Dundalk
Library, a library staff member will locate the material at another
library. Most of the Interlibrary Loan material are books and periodical
articles.
How long will it take to receive my material? It can be as
quickly as one day or as long as four weeks to receive your requested
material. If the material requested is from a Community College it takes
less time to receive the material. Ask a librarian for an approximate
date of arrival of your request. We will use the best resources to
expedite your request.
Does it cost any money? Most Interlibrary Loan material is
free to borrow. If we have to go out of state we will ask you to pay any
cost the lending libraries might charge. Many out of state libraries do
not have a fee.
Who may request for material from Interlibrary Loan at CCBC Dundalk
Library? Only students currently enrolled at Dundalk may request
material using this Interlibrary Loan network.
