Baltimore
Architecture Project provides a free, publicly searchable Internet
database of biographical and historical information on Baltimore's
buildings and their architects. Currently, the time frame covered is
1850-1945. It is a collaboration from the collections, data, images, and
professional expertise of the Sheridan Libraries of The Johns Hopkins
University, Towson University, Baltimore Architecture Foundation, and
Maryland Historical Society.
Musee Directories of Museums

RLG’s ArchiveGrid
database containing nearly a million collection descriptions of thousands of
archives, museums, and libraries remains free for a few more weeks (June
30, 2006).

database provides a one-stop source of information with summaries and

anyone interested in business, investing and finance, now more than
ever, thanks to new search tools and options. See "Filings and Forms"
(a.k.a. EDGAR) to access any public company's earnings reports and other
public documents, including mutual fund prospectuses.
MSN Search is offering a
free access to the full text (not just blurbs) of Microsoft's Encarta
encyclopedia. You're given a two hour free pass (set via a cookie) to
the full text of the entire encyclopedia. Once your pass is activated,
you can search and access the full text using Encarta search box.
