“Sim Man,” a $50,000+ assessment tool, is one of the featured attractions of CCBC’s new high-tech practical nursing skills laboratory. An anatomically correct mannequin, he/she can be programmed to simulate real life nursing scenarios – from taking blood pressures and administering intravenous fluids (IVs) to monitoring a host of medical conditions.

The Catonsville Community College Foundation and Alumni Association recently hosted a tree planting ceremony honoring William C. March, a pioneer in the field of mortuary science, who passed away in February 2002.
