Paris … Milan … New York … Dundalk? Fashion is where you find it,
and you need look no further than CCBC Dundalk for the latest in
fall fashions. On Oct. 24 the CCBC Dundalk Chapter of the American
Association of Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC) sponsored a
luncheon and women's fashion show featuring "Weekenders" creative

CCBC Dundalk's youngest lifelong learners were among the party
guests at the campus bookstore's celebration of the 100th
anniversary of the Teddy Bear. Following an entertaining reading
of "Corduroy" by Barney Wilson, dean of Learning Support Systems,
the children sang Happy Birthday to bears of all shapes and sizes,
presented them with a handmade card, and enjoyed a punch and

At an Oct. 23 "Conversation with Dr. Proulx," the CCBC Dundalk
president (seated at front of room) chatted informally with
students, faculty and staff about a number of campus-related
issues. Held periodically throughout the year, these open sessions
provide members of the college community with the opportunity to
voice questions, express concerns and convey opinions about campus

Dawn Snyder, American Cancer Society staff, joined Jean Little,
2002 Dundalk Relay for Life chairman, in presenting a token of
thanks to CCBC Dundalk for acting as host of the annual
fundraising event. Accepting the plaque on behalf of the campus
was Barney Wilson, dean of Learning Support Systems. The 2002
event fielded 36 teams and raised more than $81,000 for cancer,

Students, staff and faculty members enjoyed food from around the
world at the Intercultural Bazaar at CCBC Catonsville in November.
Sponsored by the African American Student Association, this event
was held during Diversity Week. The Division of Learning and
Student Development, the Office of Student Life and the Diversity

Millie Boyd, dean of Lifelong Learning, joins three CCBC students
in taking direction from a crew member in how to hoist the halyard
and raise the main sail on board the Pioneer. The tall ship is a
gaff-rigged schooner built in 1865 and is the last of the wrought
iron hulled schooners still under sail. The 102' cargo boat was
the floating classroom for CCBC students who registered for the
