Scrooge –The Musical showcases local talent
It’s perfect holiday entertainment for the entire family. The musical adaptation of Dickens’ classic tale, A Christmas Carol, Scrooge – The Musical showcases CCBC Essex students of ages past, present and future with its intergenerational cast—seniors, students and children.

A panel of Muslim women from all different walks of life – including students from CCBC Catonsville – discussed the topic “Women’s Changing Roles in Islamic Cultures” during a film presentation and panel discussion at CCBC Catonsville.

Community members view lunar eclipse at CCBC Dundalk observatory
Lunar eclipses occur only once or twice a year worldwide, and due to differences in location and both the earth and moon's orbits, Baltimore area residents have the chance to see this phenomenon just once every few years. Dave Ludwikoski, assistant professor of Natural Sciences, was on hand at the CCBC Dundalk observatory to guide viewers through this uncommon celestial event in mid-November.

AAWCC offers varied events and programs throughout CCBC
The differences in American Association for Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC) activities at each CCBC campus positively reflect the differences in the campuses themselves. In order to appeal to a broad audience – faculty, staff, students and men – each campus AAWCC chapter tailors programs to its specific campus community.
