    As CCBC’s new chief of Public Safety, Jeffrey Hagen is responsible for maintaining security for college property and facilities, in addition to ensuring the safety of hundreds of faculty and staff and thousands of CCBC students, visitors and guests. To some it might seem a daunting task, but to Hagen, it’s an opportunity to do meaningful work with an experienced staff.

    For years, Baltimoreans have longed for the intimate jazz scenes that can only be found in places like New York City’s infamous Blue Note Jazz Club. So for one night only, the Catonsville Community College Foundation, Inc. brought the Blue Note to Baltimore with a performance by Houston Person and his Quartet.

    Barbara Dezmon, assistant to the superintendent for Equity and Assurance for Baltimore County Public Schools, gave the audience many thought-provoking perspectives at CISL Fair 2003 as she challenged the audience to think “outside the box” regarding teaching techniques.
