The Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) offers a number of services
that support minority students. Our primary focus is on assisting them
in achieving their fullest academic, personal and career potential. Such
services include peer and staff mentor support, counseling,
intervention, referral services, and academic skills development.
The Office of Multicultural Affairs is concerned with promoting a
welcoming, inclusive campus climate and culture. To this end, the office
provides training and educational opportunities for faculty, staff and
students. Instructional, co-curricular programs, and services are
designed to recognize the diversity of cultural and ethnic populations
present on campus.
Additionally, the office provides advocacy for students of color.
