'Urinetown: The Musical' and the drama 'Proof' coming to
CCBC’s Cockpit in Court Summer Theater
'Urinetown' on the Mainstage July 18 – Aug. 3; 'Proof' in the Cabaret Theatre July 25-Aug. 3

Baltimore County, Md. – Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre continues its stellar 36th season with two diverse plays – the uproariously funny “Urinetown: The Musical” and the thought-provoking Pulitzer Prize winning drama, “Proof.”

Urinetown: The Musical
A 20-year drought leads to a government-enforced ban on private toilets and the laughs begin. This hilarious tale of greed, corruption, love and revolution in a time when water is worth its weight in gold is must-see theatre. It captured the 2002 Tony Award for Best Book and Score.

Proof
Catherine, a troubled young woman, has spent years caring for her brilliant but unstable father, a famous mathematician. Following his death, the discovery of his notebooks plunge her into her most difficult problem yet – did she inherit his genius or his madness? David Auburn’s play won both the Pulitzer Prize and the 2001 Tony Award for Best Play.
